Prusa enclosure mods
Placeholder case study — to be replaced with the real write-up.
Overview
A set of printed and laser-cut modifications for a Prusa Core One+ aimed at steadier chamber temperatures and quieter operation.
Approach
- Modeled bracket and duct parts in CAD to fit the existing frame without permanent modification.
- Added sealing and a baffled vent to stabilize chamber temperature while still allowing controlled airflow.
- Iterated print settings to balance part stiffness against print time.
Results
Chamber temperature held more steadily through long prints, and audible noise dropped noticeably with the damping additions.
What I’d do next
Instrument the chamber with a logging sensor to quantify the improvement.
